Join artist Olga Ziemska for a unique, hands-on Summer Solstice Environmental Art Workshop, where you’ll explore the beauty of nature and create temporary artworks using found materials on the longest day of the year. All skill levels are welcome—come with an open mind and a willingness to explore!
What You’ll Create
This immersive workshop begins at Olga Ziemska Studio, where you’ll gain inspiration through a slideshow of environmental artwork examples. Then, we’ll travel together to a Lake Erie Beach for a hands-on beach-combing and environmental art session.
🔹 Group or Individual Art-making: Work collaboratively on a larger-scale temporary artwork led by artist Olga Ziemska or create your own smaller individual piece.
🔹 Found Material Sculptures: Use driftwood, rocks, sand and other natural elements collected from the beach to shape your art.
🔹 Professional Art Documentation: All artworks will be photographed during golden hour before sunset, and each participant will receive a professionally printed 8x10 photo of their artwork or the group creation by mail after the workshop. Larger print sizes are available at an additional cost.

🕒 Duration: 3.5 hours
👥 Small class sizes for one-on-one guidance (maximum 16 participants)
✅Ages: 14 and up (Participants 15 and younger must be accompanied by an adult)

⚠️ Important Safety Information
This workshop takes place outdoors and can involve walking on uneven terrain, including dirt trails, sandy beaches and forested areas. Participants may encounter roots, rocks, insects, poison ivy, and changing weather conditions. Please wear appropriate footwear, dress for the weather, and bring water.✍️ Waiver Requirement
By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with outdoor activities, including minor physical exertion and environmental exposure. A signed waiver is required at registration.📩 Questions or concerns?

1. No Refund Policy
Please note that all workshop registrations are final, and no refunds will be issued for cancellations or no-shows.2. Transfers to Another Individual
If you are unable to attend the workshop, you may transfer your registration to another individual. To do so, please notify us at least 48 hours before the workshop start date with the name and contact details of the person who will be attending in your place. Transfers are not permitted after this time.3. Applying Workshop Cost to a Future Workshop
If you are unable to attend the workshop and do not wish to transfer your spot to another individual, you may apply the full cost of the original workshop to a future workshop. This option is available provided the following conditions are met:You inform us at least 48 hours before the scheduled workshop that you will not be able to attend.
The cost can only be applied to a future workshop of equal or lesser value.
The credit must be used within 12 months from the original workshop date. After 12 months, the credit will expire.
4. Workshop Cancellations by Us
In the rare event that we need to cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., instructor illness, weather), you will have the option to transfer to a different session or apply the cost to a future workshop. We will notify you of any cancellations at least 48 hours prior to the workshop.If minimum enrollment is not met for a workshop, we may cancel the class 7 days prior to the scheduled date and will issue a full refund to all registered participants.
